Your intro to iQ Clubs
iQ Clubs are our resident communities housed in the iQ app. Each Club has its own noticeboard feed with regular posts and giveaways to get stuck into. Clubs are based around different interests, so you can choose to join whichever ones suit you – or you can join them all! Keep reading to learn more about them.
BookClub
If you’re book-obsessed or looking to get into reading, you’re in luck. iQ BookClub gives away 100 free copies of its book of the month, every month during term time, so you’ll never be stuck for what to read. You can also discover new favourites, share your recommendations and attend exclusive events. Check out a pic from our latest event where we invited two published authors for a Q&A evening with residents:
SupperClub
If you love all things food, SupperClub is the Club for you. Find delicious recipe inspo and win tasty goodies like meal kits and kitchen equipment. Many of you will be living independently for the first time, and SupperClub is the perfect sidekick to have on hand for cooking advice and even free food!
GamersClub
If you love playing games, whether that’s video games, arcade games or table games, GamersClub is your hub. Play with others and share your in-game hacks on the iQ Discord channel or challenge other members at your building’s pool or table tennis table. Last year, we held a mega table tennis tournament with an Xbox prize for the winner!
Chinese Student Social Club (CSSC)
If you’re a Chinese student, Chinese Student Social Club on WeChat is your place to connect with thousands of other Chinese students living at iQs across the UK. A big part of CSSC is coming together for events to make new friends and celebrate cultural moments.
BirthdayClub
If you have a birthday (which we bet you do), join BirthdayClub to be in with a chance to win a free cake on your birth month. We partner with the incredible Cutter & Squidge to send you a delicious cake that’s big enough to share with all your friends. Did you know we also offer an exclusive 10% discount off all Cutter & Squidge orders? Just use the code IQSTUDENT10 at checkout to have your cake and eat it.
FilmClub
If you love films, then you’ll adore iQ FilmClub, which is brand new this year! After the roaring successes that were our summer cinema screenings of Jurassic World, we knew you couldn’t get enough, so we made Film Club for you to enjoy all year round. We won’t give too much away, so join now to be first in line for all the (lights… camera…) action.
