Bath Spa University

Dating back to 1852, with its origins in the original Bath School of Art, Bath Spa University must enjoy some of the greenest and most pleasant surroundings of any university in the UK. The creative spirit of those early years continues today, with a strong focus on art, drama, dance and music – so much so, Bath Spa was rated one of the top six creative universities in the Which? University Student Survey 2017.

The university prides itself on creating a safe and nurturing learning environment, with a diverse range of on-campus resources and facilities. Its art studios remain open until 10pm during the spring and summer, allowing collaboration and experimentation whenever inspiration strikes. A suite of five professional-standard recording studios are equipped with ProTools HD, Logic Audio Pro and more – sure to meet the requirements of Creative Music Technology students.

Bath Spa’s diverse offering also includes courses in areas such as Global Development and Sustainability, Journalism, Fashion Design and – fittingly given the university’s historic home city – Heritage Management.

With the beautiful Newton Park campus featuring a lake and woodlands, Sion Hill close to the city centre, and a brand new art and design campus opening in 2019, Bath Spa University offers second-to-none locations and a real sense of community.

The iQ Twerton Mill site is conveniently located between Newton Park and the centre of Bath, with regular bus links serving the Bath Spa campuses. It has spacious recreational areas inside and out, featuring a chill-out lounge and a large courtyard a few moments away from the River Avon.
