Currently ranked 6th in the UK by The Guardian for 2019, the University of Bath has a fantastic reputation and provides an excellent experience for students. The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide awarded it Best Campus University in 2014, while it was awarded Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework in 2017. Its research output is also highly lauded, with 87% of it classed as 'world-leading' or 'internationally excellent' by the most recent Research Excellence Framework in 2014.
The stunning waterside main campus is situated just outside the city centre at Claverton Down and its grounds have been given awards for outstanding beauty by local organisation Bath in Bloom. Many millions of pounds have been invested in it and the other campus sites, with current developments including a £7 million development dedicated to evolution research.
Bath students have excellent employability prospects. Over 86% of full-time first-degree graduates are in the top three occupational groups, compared to an average of 71% nationwide. Their mean salary of £26,000 is £4,500 higher than the equivalent average of all higher education graduates in the UK. The university was also one of the 10 most targeted by the country's top graduate employers from 2016 to 2017.
Our Twerton Mill building is on a stunning riverside location and is on a direct bus route to the main campus. With features including a games room and an outdoor courtyard, it has everything you need for a great life a student in Bath.
