Terms of the Competition:
By participating in this competition, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
Definitions
The following capitalised terms have the following meaning when used in these terms and conditions:
Academic Year – the 2024/25 academic year, commencing 01 September 2024.
Competition – Joining the iQ Birthday Club enters you into a prize draw for the chance to win a cake for your birthday
Entry Period - The competition period begins at 13:00 on 26 November 2024 and ends at 23:59 on 31 August 2025, with more criteria set out in clause 4.
Eligibility Criteria – The criteria set out in clause 2.
Entry – providing your details using the iQ Birthday Club form via the iQ resident app.
iQ Group - IQSA Holdco Limited, IQSA 2 Holdco Limited and their respective subsidiaries.
iQ Property – a property managed by IQSA Services Limited.
Notification – Has the meaning given to such term in clause 4.
Prize - a birthday cake selected by Us, provided by Third Parties.
Tenancy Period – the tenancy period outlined in Your Tenancy Agreement.
Third Party – a third-party supplier as selected by Us,
Us or We - IQSA Services Limited acting as Property Manager on behalf of the iQ Group.
You – a current resident for the current Academic Year at an iQ property.
Winner - winner of the Competition.
- Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible to win a Prize, You must:
- Submit Your Entry using our iQ Birthday Club form within the Entry Period, and up until the 25th day of the month before your birthday month, unless your birthday is in September, October or November where the cut-off date to submit Your entry is the 25th of December 2024;
- Be a resident for the current Academic Year at an iQ property on the date the Prize is drawn;
- Have paid all fees and charges due on Your account with Us on the date the Prize is drawn.
- To be eligible to win a Prize, You must:
- Prizes
- Participants who have provided their details will be entered into a prize draw to win one of 5 monthly Prizes: a birthday cake from our chosen Third Party supplier, up to the value of £45 including delivery. Prizes will be distributed in the Winner’s birthday month, unless they meet the criteria set out in clause 3(c).
- The Prize will be supplied by a Third Party. We reserve the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Our control makes it necessary to do so.
- Prize Draw
- For each calendar month within the Entry Period, five Winners will be chosen at random to receive a Prize. In order to claim the Prize, You must:
- meet the Eligibility Criteria set out in clause 2;
- respond to the Notification within 14 days;
- For each calendar month within the Entry Period, five Winners will be chosen at random to receive a Prize. In order to claim the Prize, You must:
- If a winner does not meet the Eligibility Criteria or respond to the Notificationwithin 14 days, the Winner forfeits the right to claim the Prize, and We will be entitled to select a new Winner;
- Provided a Winner meets the Eligibility Criteria and complies with 3(a), the Prize will be distributed to such Winner within the calendar month of the Winner’s birthday. If their birth month falls in September, October, or November, they will be eligible for the Prize draw commencing on 26 November, to be delivered in December. Once the first draw has taken place, residents will not be able to enter the Competition if their birthday has passed in the current Academic Year.
- The Competition is subject to availability and We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to withdraw, modify or substitute the Offer for another with different terms at any time and without notice during this promotion.
- The Competition will be open for the duration of the Entry Period only.
- Notification
- We will make reasonable efforts to contact the Winners by sending them an email to the address provided at Entry (the “Notification”).
- Personal Data
- By participating in the competition, You consent to Us using Your personal data for the purposes of administering the competition in accordance with Our Privacy Policy (accessible here: https://www.iqstudentaccommodation.com/privacy-policy) and applicable UK data protection legislation. If You win a Prize, You agree to the use of Your names in publicity material.
- Competition Rights
- We reserve the right to cancel, amend, terminate, or temporarily suspend this Competition at any time with no liability to You or any third party. We will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from participation in the Competition.
- This Competition is not open to employees of iQ Student Accommodation or their families.
- Insofar as is permitted by law, We, our agents and/or our distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate a Winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by Our negligence or the negligence of our agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in England.
- Third Parties
- Redemption of the Prizes may be subject to third party terms and conditions (including those of the Third Parties). You acknowledge and agree that We will have no responsibility or liability in connection with (i) Your use or redemption (or any third parties’ use or redemption) of the Prizes, (ii) the actions or omissions of any other third party (including the Third Parties), and (iii) Your or any other persons’ dealings with any third party concerning the Prize (including the Third Parties).
- Promoter Information
- This Competition is promoted by IQSA Services Limited, Registered Office: iQ Student Accommodation, 2 More London Pl, London SE1 2JP.
- The Prize is only applicable to You and is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is offered.
- We must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, we will send the surname and county of the Prize winners to anyone who emails marketing@iqstudent.com during the Entry Period and within one (1) month after the end of the Entry Period. If you object to any or all of your surname or county being published or made available, please contact us at marketing@iqstudent.com. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
- The decision of IQSA Services Limited regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
- Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. We reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award a Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
