What are we looking for in an Assistant Manager?
With a passion for creating unforgettable experiences, our Assistant Managers are all about making residents’ days brighter and better. They’re dedicated to going above and beyond, ensuring every interaction leaves a smile.
Assistant Managers are the right-hand to our Operations Managers, keeping our Sites running smoothly. They lead the charge in daily operations, guiding the team in everything from leasing and service to cleaning and safety. Plus, they sprinkle their magic on financial management and smashing business KPIs. It’s all in a day’s work for these superstars.
What background is needed?
First and foremost, we're looking for an enthusiastic leader who thrives in a get-stuff-done kind of environment. You won't mind rolling your sleeves up, with bags of Leadership and great communications skills. You'll have some management experience, but that could be in a hotel, gym or restaurant – we're much more interested in your people skills, personality and potential.
How are our Site teams made up?
At each of our Sites, we have an Operations Manager, Assistant Manager, Customer Service Advisors, Housekeepers and Maintenance Technicians.
What shift patterns does this role do?
Our iQ Sites are open between 8:00am and 8:00pm so shifts vary. You could be working a morning shift, mid-day shift or late shift – and we work on a rota basis. The Hiring Manager will discuss shifts with you at interview stage.
This is generally a Monday-Friday role, but occasionally you may need to work weekends in busy summer periods.
