Our Maintenance Technicians need to be great communicators, especially with our residents. You’ll be big on collaboration – working closely with the rest of your team to deliver exceptional resident living. Our MT’s look after our site maintenance, including tasks like plumbing, joinery, painting and statutory testing. You’ll be willing to go the extra mile to ensure life at iQ runs smoothly for our residents.  

Our Site teams work together to ensure that residents experience is the best it can be. Our Maintenance Technicians work closely with our Customer Service Advisors day to day to make sure we’re responding to jobs logged by our residents quickly and effectively. 

When applying for a Maintenance Technician role, you’ll see that the role is against a certain Site. However, we do have hubs of iQ Student Accommodations and that means that sometimes you might be asked to go help out at a Site nearby. 

Our Site roles are all about being Experience Obsessed and making sure we’re delivering a ‘Best Year Yet’ for our residents. When new iQers join the business, we’ll ensure you get all the necessary training and support needed.

At iQ, we offer a Specialist Maintenance Technician role which enables Maintenance Technicians the opportunity to upskill themselves on electrical course and replace electrical items on site. 

You'll have some experience either in maintenance or as a general builder/labourer.  You could work in residential or domestic environments but we're much more interested in your people skills and potential.
