Scotland’s capital is home to the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe Festival throughout August: an unparalleled month of comedy, music and performing arts. A packed cultural calendar throughout the rest of the year covers all bases, with the city’s genuinely lovely people creating a welcoming vibe.

There’s breathtaking architecture wherever you look, and plenty of gorgeous outdoor spaces from the Royal Botanic Garden to the Meadows and the imposing Edinburgh Castle. Cobbled streets and winding roads weave across the city - you’ll get a good workout from the hills.

"One of the most picturesque locations in the world, it’s an incredible place to be a student."

Home to four universities and a huge 34,000 students, it’s a proper student city with education at its core. With alumni including Robert Louis Stevenson and Charles Darwin, you’re in good company studying here.

Our three student accommodation buildings are all within walking distance of Edinburgh’s main universities. Elliott House has stunning views of the old town, while Grove and Fountainbridge offer onsite gyms plus cinema rooms for cosy film nights.
