"One of the most picturesque locations in the world, it’s an incredible place to be a student."

There’s breathtaking architecture and views wherever you look, and plenty of gorgeous outdoor spaces from the Royal Botanic Garden, down to the Meadows and up to the imposing Edinburgh Castle which overlooks the city. Cobbled streets and winding roads weave across the city, and you’ll get a good workout from some of the hills it’s built on.

Home to four universities and a huge 34,000 students, it’s a proper student city that lives and breathes creativity and has education at its very core. With alumni including the likes of Robert Louis Stevenson and Charles Darwin, you’re in very good company studying here.

Our three student accommodation buildings are all within walking distance of Edinburgh’s main universities, and the bus stop outside Fountainbridge takes you direct to Heriot-Watt in 35 minutes. Elliott House has stunning views of the old town, while Grove and Fountainbridge have cinema rooms for cosy film and gaming sessions.
