Leeds’ nightlife has a reputation for being some of the best in the UK, with a new wave of venues opening in recent years in repurposed industrial spaces. Shopping is a dream, from the 600+ independent stalls of the huge Kirkgate Market through to the more glitzy and glamorous options.
A huge range of festivals in Leeds and the surrounding area include the VW Festival, the Leeds Yoga & Wellness Festival and the legendary Leeds Festival. There’s also the glorious Light Night, which brings two nights of light projections, installations and art to iconic spaces in the city.

With one of the biggest student populations in the UK, it’s a great place to study. Both of our student accommodation buildings, iQ Leeds and Marsden House, are within easy walking distance of The University of Leeds and Leeds Beckett University City Campus.
Leeds Beckett Headingley Campus, Leeds City College and Leeds Arts University are also within easy reach.
