Find out everything that's been happening over at iQ Shoreditch, our biggest accommodation site in London...
February; the shortest month of the year but an eventful one for all those at iQ Shoreditch. Love certainly wasn’t in the air with our Anti-Valentine’s themed party... however, those who attended were in a joyous mood, indulging in free chocolates, Domino’s pizza, wine and beer and the company of their friends. For anyone thinking "wait, there was pizza?" - you really need to be off your seats quicker next time! The Anti-Valentine's party was a sure success with over 115 students attending (not to mention their guests) and we hope that those who continued the party into Central London made it in on time for their 9am lectures the next day!
Shifting the theme from black to red, we celebrated the Chinese New Year at iQ Shoreditch on the 19th February. Our Lucky Tree at reception was branching out red envelopes that contained various prizes, including gift vouchers and delightful cupcakes. Those living at iQ Shoreditch could easily pop back home to Old Street Station after joining the thousands attending the celebrations held across Chinatown and Leicester Square.
The Sports Lounge proved to be very popular this month due to the Rugby 6 Nations, Cricket World Cup and of course Champions League football, all being shown live and in HD. Don’t forget that our Movie Theatre also has the full Sky Sports and BT Sports package! If sports aren’t your thing don’t forget we have 24 other amazing social spaces at iQ Shoreditch for you to all enjoy. More information about these can be found at reception - the iQ Shoreditch team is always happy to help with any questions you may have.
We hope you have enjoyed the second month of 2015 and stay tuned for information about our March social events at iQ Shoreditch!
