Your Exclusive Gym!

Our on site gym will be opening in Spring 2015 and equipped with state of the art machines for all of your fitness needs. Membership to the Gym is FREE but you will need to undertake and pay for an induction before you are allowed to gain access. 

The induction involves: completion of a medical questionnaire and a demonstration of how to use the gym equipment safely and effectively. It will last approximately 45 minutes and can be booked via our partners, RCH. 

Please note that this is an unmanned gym.

Gym Etiquette

  • No guests are allowed
  • Only authorised persons who have had an induction with an RCH trainer are allowed to use the gym
  • Report all gym equipment faults to the Accommodation Team at Reception
  • Do not wear outdoor shoes in the gym, wear clean trainers at all times
  • Men must wear t-shirts
  • Drink plenty of water – do not dehydrate
  • Keep water bottles out of the way of other users
  • Be sensitive to noise and your co-residents in the nearby apartments during all hours
  • Always bring a sweat towel and wipe down the equipment after use
  • Replace all equipment after use
  • Allow others to use the equipment between sets
  • If the gym is busy, only use the cardio equipment for a maximum time of 20 minutes
  • Advise someone close to you when you use this unmanned gym in case of accident/emergency
  • Mobile phones should be stored safely and away from other gym users and only used in an emergency. Do not use whilst on the equipment
  • Do not exercise after drinking alcohol
  • If you are unsure of how to use the gym equipment book in with an RCH trainer.
  • Stop exercising immediately if you feel dizzy or faint or have chest pain and consult a doctor
  • Be courteous to fellow residents by not obstructing or leaving fire exits open.
  • Please shut all external doors and turn off lights before you leave at night if the gym is empty

2 Treadmills

With a professional treadmill like Jog Now you can reach these goals and more, using parameters like speed and incline to choose the right workout for you.

2 Elliptical Trainers

Created and designed to eliminate muscle and joint strain during training, the Synchro, the professional elliptical trainer helps improve coordination and balance. The total body cardiovascular exercise of the Synchro helps to reduce fat mass as well as improve muscle, joint elasticity and flexibility.

1 Exercise Bike

The bike replicates the sensation of riding a real road bike. The biomechanics and ergonomic design offer a variety of positions to improve rider comfort and accessibility as well as performance.

1 Plurima Wall

Plurima allows you to carry out as many as 150 total body training exercises. This multiple training station includes the action of 18 strength machines, also permitting you to train together with other people.

1 WaterRower

The WaterRower has been designed as a natural rowing simulator and is unrivalled in replicating not only the superb physiological dynamics of rowing, but much of the aesthetic pleasure as well, giving the calming feel of a boat gliding down the river. The WaterRower's patented WaterFlywheel utilizes the same physical elements (water) and the same physical dynamics (fluid drag) as occur when a boat moves through water.
