Matthew Loughlin joins iQ as Chief Development Officer

iQ Student Accommodation has appointed Matthew Loughlin to the role of Chief Development Officer (CDO) – the latest in a series of key hires to support its ambitious growth plans.

Matthew joins from Unite Students, where he has spent the last two and a half years as Group Development Director, responsible for all development and construction activity. Prior to this, Matthew led the joint venture division of Bellway, London Partnerships, and spent 10 years as a Director at K2 Consultancy where he led significant residential and student accommodation developments. With 35 years’ experience, Matthew brings considerable sector knowledge and development expertise to iQ’s executive team.

Matthew joined the business in April 2022.
