With campuses across the city, Edinburgh College offers a diverse range of courses with a strong focus on employability, working with more than 1000 industry partners.Its faculties include Creative Industries, Engineering & Built Environment, Health, Wellbeing & Social Sciences, and Tourism, Hospitality & Business.

One of the college’s stand-out facilities can be found at its Midlothian campus, where an oil production platform simulator equips students with the expertise to work in this industry. There is also a ‘Solar Meadow’ consisting of 2500 photovoltaic panels, to develop skills in the renewable energy sector.

At the Sighthill campus, the state-of-the-art Music Box provides music students with an industry-standard recording and performance environment, while at Granton, the PASS performing arts centre counts actress Karen Gillan among its alumni. In addition to acting and performance, the college also offers courses in related disciplines such as dance, costume, make-up and theatre design.
