Our Elgin Place property provides some of the smartest student accommodation in Glasgow, complete with excellent social spaces including a cinema, gym, and lounge. Also featuring a dedicated study suite, this building can be found in the city centre, within a short walk of the University of Glasgow, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Glasgow School of Art and the University of Strathclyde, among others.
A wide choice of en suite rooms and self-contained studios is available at Elgin Place, and the site also offers useful services including a laundry room and free WiFi. You will be well connected to public transport with various bus routes and Charing Cross train station within a 5-minute walk.
During the 2024/25 academic year, we will be carrying out building improvement works to the exterior of Elgin Place. Your comfort during your stay is important to us and we will be doing all we can to minimise disruption. Works will only take place between 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with no noisy works during exam times. Our team are on site and on hand 24/7 to support you, and will keep you updated about the works.

How do I book?
Booking online is quick and easy – it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.
If you prefer, you can call us (it’s best to call the site you want to book at direct), or visit us at your chosen iQ location. You will need to pay a non-refundable booking fee to secure your booking, which can be paid by debit or credit card.
What do I need to bring?
You can see what’s included in your room on the room details page for your iQ site. Among the things you will need, or may want, to bring are bedding, towels, toiletries, toilet paper, basic kitchen equipment, hangers, and a computer or laptop.
