De Montfort University

De Montfort University’s reputation comes courtesy of its varied courses, from arts and humanities to social sciences and law. Artist David Shrigley, actor Charles Dance and director Simon Wells are among famous alumni to have studied there.

Recent grants and upgrades include an £8 million sports centre, a £4.5 million Performance Arts Centre and the new Hugh Aston Faculty of Business and Law. It’s also one of a few establishments in the country to have a dedicated Law Library.

On the sports and leisure front, DMU has recently invested £2.3 million in facilities at nearby Beaumont Park. These include a 3G artificial pitch, 2 standard FA pitches, a modern clubhouse and floodlights. It’s a perfect launchpad for the next budding star of local heroes, Leicester City Football Club.

Our Grosvenor House building is ideal for students, set just a seven-minute walk away from De Montfort and on the doorstep of Leicester city centre. Residents can choose from shared flats or single and dual occupancy studios. Facilities include Sky TV, pool tables and games consoles to help you unwind from a busy and productive day.
