THIS PROMOTION IS MANAGED AND OPERATED BY IQSA SERVICES LIMITED TRADING AS iQ STUDENT ACCOMMODATION
Definitions
‘Booking’ means a completed booking for the 2025/26 academic year at the IQ Property which requires You to sign a tenancy agreement with an iQ Group entity which is accepted, pay a booking fee (if applicable) and for all guarantor documentation to be provided and accepted.
‘Competition Period’ means a period commencing on 3 September 2024 and expiring on 31 January 2024.
‘Experience Vouchers’ means vouchers selected by Us for experiences, provided by the Third Parties.
‘HEI’ means a higher education institution, including universities.
‘iQ Group’ means IQSA Holdco Limited, IQSA 2 Holdco Limited and their respective subsidiaries.
‘iQ Property’ means IQ Longwood Place.
‘Offer’ means a competition to win one of the Prizes, which is open for entry via Our website during the Competition Period.
‘Prizes’ means the Experience Vouchers and the Rent-free Flat.
‘Rent-free Flat’ means permission for You and a maximum of four (4) other persons to occupy a 5 bed gold en suite cluster flat for the 2025/2026 academic year for the Tenancy Period at the iQ Property, with no rent charged during the Tenancy Period.
‘Student’ means a person who is actively enrolled in a university as a full time student and can provide a valid student ID.
‘Tenancy Period’ means the period beginning 13 September 2025 and ending 5 September 2026.
‘Third Parties’ means the third parties involved in the provision and operation of the Experience Vouchers, including and not limited to Red Letter Days.
‘Us’ or ‘We’ or ‘Property Manager’ means IQSA Services Limited acting as property manager on behalf of the iQ Group.
‘You’ means a Student who has a valid Booking, made during the Competition Period, and has been entered into the Offer without opting-out in accordance with clause 3 below.
Terms of offer
- The winners of the Offer will be announced on or around 31 January 2025.
- If You win a Prize, We will notify you by email.
- You can only win a maximum of one (1) of the Prizes per person.
- You will be automatically entered into the Offer if you make a Booking during the Competition Period via our website. You may opt-out of the Offer by requesting this by email to marketing@iqstudent.com.
- You will not be eligible for any of the Prizes if You have made Your Booking through an HEI or will not enter into a tenancy agreement directly with an iQ Group entity (for the avoidance of doubt this includes any circumstances where an HEI has acted as an agent of an iQ Group entity).
- The Rent-free Flat is subject to the following conditions:
- Each of the occupants must, for the entirety of the Tenancy Period:
- be a Student over the age of 18;
- not be a vulnerable adult (as defined in s60(1) of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006);
- not be a person who is listed or whose guarantor is listed on any economic sanctions list maintained by the United States, the United Kingdom and/or the United Nations; and
- not be a person who We have reason to object to as a result of their behaviour previously at the IQ Property or any other student accommodation of which We are aware.
- Each occupant, prior to the start of the Tenancy Period, must have (i) entered into (at Our option) either a licence agreement or a tenancy agreement on Our form with Us, which is accepted by Us, (ii) completed all required guarantor information and documentation, which is accepted by Us; and (iii) have paid any booking or other ancillary fees required by Us.
- We are entitled to remove any occupant from the Rent-free Flat if (i) such occupant does not meet one or more of the conditions set out in clause 5a) above at any point during the Tenancy Period or (ii) we are permitted to do so pursuant to the applicable tenancy agreement / licence agreement.
- You are not obligated to fill all the rooms of the Rent-free Flat, however we reserve the right to let or licence any of the rooms in the Rent-free Flat that are not filled.
- Redemption of the Experience Vouchersis subject to Third Parties’ terms and conditions (including but not limited to the terms and conditions of the voucher).
- The Offer will be open for the duration of the Competition Period only.
- The Offer is only applicable to You and is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is offered.
- The Offer is issued on a per property basis and is not transferable between iQ Properties.
- The Offer is subject to availability and We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to withdraw, modify or substitute the Offer for another with different terms at any time and without notice during this promotion.
- We will not be liable for any loss or damages as a result of participating in this Offer or the receipt or use of the Prizes.
- You acknowledge and agree that We will have no responsibility or liability in connection with (i) Your use of the Experience Vouchers, (ii) the actions or omissions of the Third Parties or any other third party, and / or (iii) Your dealings with the Third Parties or any other third party in connection with the Experience Vouchers.
- We must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, we will send the surname and county of the Prize winners to anyone who emails marketing@iqstudent.com within one (1) month after the end of the Competition Period. If you object to any or all of your surname or county being published or made available, please contact us at marketing@iqstudent.com. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
- The decision of IQSA Services Limited regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
- Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. We reserve the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award a Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
- Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in our privacy policy which can be found here.
- The Offer is not available to IQSA Services Limited and IQSA 2 Services Limited employees.
- These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
