The Manchester College
The Manchester College offers a variety of vocationally-focused courses at degree level.
With five campuses offering university degree courses across the city, it offers some great facilities. In the city centre, Nichollas Campus features the Arden School Of Theatre, the college’s Sports Academies for football, rugby and basketball and the Nicholls Community Football Centre of Excellence. Its Centre of Excellence for Medical Studies is located in the heart of the city’s Knowledge Quarter, adjacent to St. Mary’s Hospital and the Manchester Royal Infirmary.
To the east of the city, you’ll find its modern Openshaw campus, featuring its own salon, fitness centre and restaurant. In the south you’ll find the Fielden Campus, with its industry-standard facilities for film production, digital media and catering studies, and their air and sound quality-improving ‘green roof’. Down the road from it is where the Northenden campus is situated, with its wildlife ‘corridors’ connecting it to the natural beauty of Wythenshawe Park.
