Student city guide to Manchester

From its innovative music scene to its world-famous sporting success, Manchester has plenty to inspire you during your studies. Our student accommodation spans the city, keeping you close to university and all the action.

With over 70,000 students, Manchester is a buzzing place to study. It’s one of the UK’s musical hotspots, with a great heritage that gave the world Oasis, Stone Roses and The Smiths.

Festivals over the summer include the massive Parklife and Manchester Pride. Warehouse Project is a local institution, bringing the world’s biggest electronic music acts to a gargantuan space in the city centre.

Our student accommodation buildings Fletcher House, Hollingworth House and Lambert & Fairfield House are all a short walk from the University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University. Kerria Apartments and Wilmslow Park are also less than 12 minutes’ walk away.

Manchester Gardens and Daisy Bank are located south of the city centre and benefit from fast transport links to the universities.
