Newcastle College

Occupying a multitude of sites across the city and surrounding area, Newcastle College offers degree courses and a range of other courses for 16-18 year-olds. The college has excellent facilities which realistically replicate a range of working environments. These include its Rail Engineering Academy, Construction Technical Academy and Lifestyle Academy, which equips students with skills for careers in travel, leisure and hospitality.

The Performance Academy, a £21 million facility, is impressively equipped with a 250-seat theatre, dance and acting studios, TV and recording studios and a professional-standard music venue, giving those interesting in pursuing careers in entertainment a great foundation. Those interested in working in aviation also have the facilities they need to train in all areas of aircraft engineering, including a fully functional Boeing 737.

With a student community of 16,000, the college welcomes many international students, with more than 60 nationalities represented and a dedicated International Office to guide applicants prior to arrival and beyond.
