Nottingham Trent University

Named as the "top post-1992 University" in the country in the 2018 Complete University Guide, Nottingham Trent is the 13th-biggest university in the country. In 2017 it was named University of the Year by the Times Higher Education Awards and Modern University of the Year by the Sunday Times.

It has one of the best employability records in England and Wales, with 94% of its students progressing to full-time employment or further education within six months of graduating. Aside from academic excellence, Trent also plays host to events like the GameCity video game festival and music festivals including TrentFest and Rockingham. Their music venue The Pulse has been graced by the likes of Giggs, Mystery Jets, Kano and Foals in recent years.

Additions to their campuses in the last decade include the £60 million student union centre, the Centre for Broadcast Journalism, the Lee Westwood Sports Centre and the Rosalind Franklyn ‘superlab’ building. It was also called "the most environmentally friendly university in the country" by The Guardian, with all of their electricity coming from renewable sources.

Our Exchange and Newton & Newland House buildings are both 15 minutes’ walk from the Trent campus and features across them include a gym, onsite laundries, TVs in shared kitchens and regular social events.
