Plymouth College of Art

One of the few remaining specialist art universities left in the UK, Plymouth College of Art has a history that stretches back to 1856. Its suitably stylish campus caters for around 2,000 students, providing an intimate higher education experience across a huge range of courses.

Their campus features the award-winning Red House building, and a specialist art, craft and digital design centre launched in 2014 that was created with £8m of investment. Their Fab Lab features the latest in digital design technology while their Equipment Resource has over 6,500 pieces of kit for students to loan out, from digital to analogue for use in the fields of moving image, sound, games and animation.

Their Erasmus+ partnership across Europe includes partners like the Design Academy Eindhoven and the National Academy of Art, Sofia, giving students  the chance of an international learning experience.

Our Astor House building is in a great central location with views over Plymouth Hoe, and is just a 10-minute walk from campus. With everything from a sky lounge to a games room and surfboard storage, it offers truly excellent student living.
