Refer a friend cashback terms and conditions

THIS PROMOTION IS MANAGED AND OPERATED BY IQSA SERVICES LIMITED TRADING AS iQ STUDENT ACCOMMODATION AND APPLIES TO THE 2019/2020 ACADEMIC YEAR ONLY.

DEFINITIONS

‘Referrer’ means the person introducing a friend or individual to make a booking with IQSA Services Limited for the 2019/20 tenancy year.

‘Referred friend’ means the person who is introduced to IQSA Services Limited by the Referrer and who makes a booking with IQSA Services Limited for the 2019/20 tenancy year.

‘New Booker/New Booking’ means a booking for a room at an iQ property for the academic year 2019/20.

‘Resident booking’ means a 2018/19 resident who has booked directly at an iQ Property for the 2019/20 tenancy year.

‘Cashback’ means a monetary reward for booking with IQSA Services Limited for the 2019/20 tenancy year. It is a promotion applied to eligible Resident and New bookings only when a promotional code is entered at the time of booking.

‘Promotional Code’ means the unique code used at point of booking to validate cashback Offer.

‘Us’ or ‘We’ means IQSA Services Limited acting as property managers on behalf of the iQ Group.

‘Completed booking’ means all parts of the booking are complete including signed/accepted Tenancy Agreement and accepted Guarantor Documentation.

‘iQ Property’ means a property managed by IQSA Services Limited.

 

TERMS:

  1. The Refer a friend cashback pays a Referrer and Referred friend with cashback for each qualifying 2019/20 room booking made on or after 7th January 2019. 
  2. We may change, extend or withdraw this Cashback offer at any time and without letting you know. This will not affect any existing bookings already made under this scheme for which the offer is eligible.
  3. The Cashback is not available to IQSA Services Limited employees. 
  4. Referrer: To qualify for this Cashback the Referrer must:
  • Have stayed at an iQ property in either 2017/18, 2018/19 or booked to stay in 2019/20 in any room for a minimum of 34 weeks, unless stated otherwise; 
  • Provide their entry ID, full name and promotional code to the Referred friend, and; 
  • Have remained within the terms of their respective tenancy agreements with IQSA Services Limited.
  1. Referred friend: To qualify for this Cashback, the Referred friend must:  
  • Be studying for a minimum of 21 hours a week for a full academic year for the academic year 2019/2020;
  • Create a new or resident 2019/20 booking online. On site teams can assist with the online process;
  • Enter a valid Refer a Friend promotional code at time of booking, in the applicable promo code field. You must also enter a valid 2017/18, 2018/19 or 2019/20 resident name and entry ID of the Referrer in the applicable promo code fields. If you do not have the valid resident name and entry ID of the Referrer at time of booking, you will be able to go back and add this at a later date. This information must be added to your 2019/20 booking no later than 31st August 2019 to qualify for the Cashback, and;
  • Have remained within the terms of the Referred friend respective tenancy agreements.
  1. The Refer a friend promotional code can be used in conjunction with a New Booker or Resident booking cashback promotional code as long as the promotional codes are entered at the time of booking.
  2. Cashback payment will only be made to the Referrer and Referred friend when the Referred friend has met the below conditions:
  • You are up to date with your rent instalments as of 12 October 2019, or;
  • You have paid in full for the entire year.
  • If you do not meet the above conditions by 12 October 2019, you will not be eligible for the Offer.
  1. Cashback payment will be split equally between the Referrer and the Referred friend (50/50).
  2. The offer is only applicable to the Referrer and the Referred Resident and is non-transferable
  3. Cashback payment will be made to the Referrer and Referred friend in the form of a pre-paid payment card, no later than 31st December 2019 or at a subsequent later date if for operational reasons we have not been able to facilitate dispatch of the cards to those qualifying. If this is the case, we will notify you no later than 31st December with an estimate of the revised date of despatch. We reserve the right to pay by alternative methods. Any alternative payment method requests will not be granted.
  4. There’s no limit to the number of friends a Referrer can recommend, and each Referred friend will qualify for a payment if they meet the conditions. However, we’ll only pay the Referrer for recommendations made before 31st August 2019.
  5. This Offer excludes bookings for the 2019/20 academic year referred through a Nominations Agreement or an Agent.
  6. We will not make cashback payment if the Referrer or the Referred friend is in arrears (rent or other charges) up to 7th November 2019. If resident subsequently makes all due payments after this date and is no longer in arrears they will not receive cashback. 
  7. The decision to pay the incentive is at the absolute discretion of IQSA Services Limited.
  8. We reserve the right to withdraw, modify or substitute the Refer a friend offer for another with different terms at any time and without notice during this promotional. Any such change would not affect any bookings already made under the current Refer a friend terms.
  9. Use of any voucher or pre-paid payment card is subject to the terms and conditions of the card issuing organisation. IQSA Services Limited will not be liable for any loss or damages as a result of participating in this incentive.
