Huddersfield

Student city guide to Huddersfield

Huddersfield's signficant student population add extra vibrancy to this historic Yorkshire market town. Our three student accommodation buildings sit conveniently close to its university campus.

The town has an amazing range of independent shops and traders. Then there’s the bustling vintage-stuffed Byram Arcade, monthly Upmarket Sundays events and the Open Market in Brook Street. There’s plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, including country parks and Yorkshire’s areas of outstanding natural beauty.

With a student population of over 18,000, it’s a great place to study with a lively cultural calendar. You can look forward to good nightlife and an annual Food & Drink Festival held in the majestic St George’s Square.

Our three student accommodation buildings, Aspley House, Little Aspley House and Castings, are close to the town centre and are within easy walking distance of the University of Huddersfield campus. Across these buildings you’ll find onsite gyms, games rooms and a cinema.
