London College of Fashion

Part of the prestigious University of the Arts London, the London College of Fashion is where the likes of Jimmy Choo, William Tempest, Anushka Khanna and Emma Hope all learned their trade. It offers a range of courses across fashion, make-up, beauty therapy and the lifestyle industries, from undergraduate to postgraduate and study abroad courses. Its origins stretch back to 1877 and the foundation of the Leather Trade School.

Its main campus is right by the hustle and bustle of Oxford Circus, with the area’s world-famous fashion stores providing plenty of inspiration for students. It also hosts occasional exhibitions with free entry to public. It has additional campuses in Shepherd’s Bush, Barbican, Holborn, Hackney and Shoreditch. In 2022, it will consolidate into a single site as part of the exciting new Cultural and Education District in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London—where UCL and the V&A Museum are also opening outposts.

The Oxford Circus site features a cosmetics lab, the Fashion Space Gallery and the UK’s leading fashion library. All their sites feature social spaces, with canteens, cafés, courtyards and gardens across them.
