SOAS, University of London

SOAS is the world-leader for the study of Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Located in the heart of leafy Bloomsbury, it’s right in the middle of London and next to UCL, Birkbeck University and the University of London central buildings.

Known for its political scene and student activism, it has produced a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, several heads of states and Supreme Court judges among its alumni. They offer 350 different undergrad degree combinations, with their Development Studies course ranked 7th-best in the world in 2017.

Their impressive library of Asian and African resource materials is the largest in the world. Their campus is just round the corner from The British Museum and the British Library, for extended cultural excursions. It also includes the Brunei Gallery, which hosts historical and modern exhibitions from across Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Don’t miss its beautiful Japanese-style roof garden, perfect for taking a breather between lectures or study sessions.

Our Bloomsbury building is well-located for SOAS, just a few minutes’ walk north of the main campus.
