Resident Summer Stay – Experience Voucher Prize Draw Competition: Terms and Conditions
THIS PROMOTION IS MANAGED AND OPERATED BY IQSA SERVICES LIMITED TRADING AS iQ STUDENT ACCOMMODATION
Definitions
The following capitalised terms have the following meaning when used in these terms and conditions:
2024/25 Academic Year: means the academic year commencing on 2nd September 2024 and ending on 28th August 2025
2025/26 Academic Year: means the academic year commencing on 1st September 2025 and ending on 31st August 2026
Eligible Participant: means, subject to clause 2, an iQ Resident that:
- has booked a room at any iQ Property for a minimum of 7 consecutive nights directly with Us for Summer 2025 (excluding, for the avoidance of doubt, any booking which includes any date(s) outside of Summer 2025):
- has made and paid for the booking for Summer 2025 in full before 11:59pm on Wednesday 30th April 2025;
- does not owe the iQ Group any other fees; and
- has entered into a tenancy or licence or occupation agreement directly with Us or a company in the iQ Group in relation to the above-mentioned booking.
Competition: A chance to win an Experience Voucher in accordance with these terms and conditions.
HEI: means a higher education institution, including universities.
Experience Voucher: means either an electronic voucher or physical voucher card with £100 credit that is issued to the winner (or replacement winner as applicable) of the Draw that can be spent at one of Ticketmaster or Red Letter Days, and in each case in accordance with its terms and conditions.
iQ Group: means IQSA Holdco Limited, IQSA 2 Holdco Limited and their respective subsidiaries.
iQ Property: means each of Abacus House, iQ Aldgate, iQ Allen Court, iQ Altus House, iQ Arkwright House, iQ Aspley House, iQ Astor House, iQ Bankside, iQ Briarfields, iQ Brighton, iQ Bristol, iQ Brocco, iQ Broderick House, iQ Castings, iQ Century Square, iQ City, iQ Collingwood, iQ Daisy Bank, iQ Dorchester House, iQ East Court, iQ Elliott House, iQ Exchange, iQ Fenton House, iQ Fiveways House, iQ Fletcher House, iQ Flinders House, iQ Fountainbridge, iQ Great Newton House, iQ Grove, iQ Hammersmith, iQ Hayes Wharf, iQ Haywood House, iQ Highbury, iQ Knight House, iQ Kopa, iQ Lambert & Fairfield House, iQ Leeds, iQ Little Aspley House, iQ Manchester Gardens, iQ Marsden House, iQ Nelson Court, iQ Newland House, iQ Opal Court, iQ Oxford Court, iQ Parker House, iQ Pavilions, iQ Penworks House, iQ Podium, iQ Shoreditch, iQ Signal Place, iQ Steel, iQ Stephenson House, iQ Sterling Court, iQ Student Quarter, iQ The Brickworks, iQ The Mont, iQ Tufnell House, iQ Twerton Mill, iQ Ty Willis House, iQ Vega, iQ Water Lane House, iQ Weaver Place, iQ Weston Hall, iQ Will Wyatt Court, iQ Wilmslow Park.
iQ Resident: means an individual who is currently living in an iQ Property for the 2024/25 Academic Year or an individual with a booking for the 2025/26 Academic Year, and in each case who has entered into a tenancy or occupancy or other agreement with the iQ Group in relation thereto.
Summer 2025: means the period from and including 31st May 2025 to and including 20th September 2025 only.
Red Letter Days: means https://www.redletterdays.co.uk
Ticketmaster: means https://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/.
Us or We or Our: means IQSA Services Limited acting as property manager of the iQ Properties.
You or Your: means the entrant of the Competition.
Summer Stay – Experience Voucher Prize Draw terms and conditions
1. Eligible Participants will be automatically entered into the Draw (as defined below) for a chance to win one of five available Experience Vouchers. You may opt-out of the Draw by requesting this by email to marketing@iqstudent.com
2. iQ Residents will not be Eligible Participants if they have booked their accommodation for either the 2024/25 Academic Year or 2025/26 Academic Year through an HEI (including via a referral agreement) or have not entered into a tenancy agreement directly with Us (for the avoidance of doubt this includes any circumstances where an HEI or any other third party has acted as an agent of Us).
3. There will be five winners selected at random amongst all Eligible Participants after 23:59pm on Wednesday 30th April (the “Draw” and the “End Date”).
4. The winners will be notified by email no later than one month after the Draw has taken place.
5. We will use reasonable endeavours to contact the winners using information You have provided Us. If a winner does not respond within 14 days of the first notification, then the winner forfeits the right to claim the prize and We will be entitled to issue the relevant Experience Voucher to a replacement winner randomly selected as a backup at the time of the Draw.
7. Subject to clauses 8, 9, 10 and 11, We will issue the Experience Vouchers via email to the winners (or replacement winners, as appliable) of the Draw by no later than 30 September 2025.
8. We reserve the right in Our absolute discretion to revise the date that the Experience Vouchers will be issued to the winners (or replacement winners, as applicable) of the Draw provided that We notify the winners (or replacement winners) of the Draw of the revised date by no later than 31 August 2025.
9. The Experience Vouchers are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
10. The decision to reward Experience Vouchers is at the absolute discretion of Us.
11. The Experience Vouchers are supplied by Ticketmaster or Red Letter Days as appropriate. We reserve the right to withdraw, modify or substitute Experience Vouchers for another prize of equivalent or higher value at any time and without notice during this promotion.
12. You agree that any Experience Voucher issued to You shall expire 12 months following the date of purchase by Us of the Experience Voucher if it is not activated by You or otherwise in accordance with its terms and conditions.
13. We reserve the right to cancel, amend, terminate, or temporarily suspend this Competition at any time with no liability to You or any third party. We will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from participation in the Competition.
14. This Competition is not open to employees of the IQ Group,
15. We must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, We will send the surname and county of the Prize winners to anyone who emails marketing@iqstudent.com during the before or within one (1) month after the End Date. If You object to any or all of Your surname or county being published or made available, please contact Us at marketing@iqstudent.com. In such circumstances, We must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
16. The decision of IQSA Services Limited regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
17. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award a prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. You consent to Us using Your personal data for the purposes of administering the Competition in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
18. These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in England.
19. Insofar as is permitted by law, We, Our agents and/or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize or in relation to the provision of goods and/or services by any third party in connect to the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Us, Our agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
