We want to be bigger than just offering student homes. We’re here to make an impact. For our residents and for the wider student community.
This year, we launched iQ Thrive to bring together our commitment to being a force for good across social mobility, student wellbeing and sustainability.
We’re ready to do more. Through Give Back, Think Green and Feel Good.
We know that student wellbeing is important. Feel Good offers our residents the right support on hand, whenever they need it, whether that’s guidance from our site teams or 24/7 support from our partners at Shout UK.
iQ Feel Good iQ Feel GoodEveryone deserves to reach their full potential. From donating to our partners at the British Heart Foundation, to levelling the playing field through iQ Thrive Academy, our Give Back efforts are here to drive change.
iQ Give Back iQ Give BackThink Green is our mission to make iQ a greener place to live. It goes to the heart of how we operate our buildings, starting with using 100% renewable energy sources through to encouraging better recycling habits.
University is an exciting time for students, but it can also be daunting.
We know that where a student chooses to call home can have a real influence on the uni experience.
At our 2023 Wellbeing Summit, we brought together over 80 of our Mental Health First Aiders and
welcomed our brand new City Wellbeing Ambassadors to talk about the positive impact we can have on iQ Life.
iQ Feel Good
Every year we see the impact that living away from home and the potential pressures of university life can have on students' wellbeing. That’s why we’ve partnered with mental health charity Shout to offer our residents a free, confidential, 24/7 support text line. The service can be accessed from anywhere, at anytime, by texting SHOUT to 85258 from a UK mobile service.
Relate is the UK's largest provider of relationship support, and in 2019 helped over two million people – including young people – to strengthen and build their relationships. Their Relatehub offers confidential 30-minute web chats with trained advisors, as well as access to online self-help resources. Anyone can access their services on their website.
The move to uni is a challenging one – not just for students, but for parents and guardians too. Dealing with a homesick loved one can add stress to the already big change of seeing them off.
We want to put your mind at ease. You can find some answers to some common questions here, or contact us for more information on how we support our residents.
