University of Wolverhampton
The University of Wolverhampton gives its students a brilliant start in life. 96% of its students are in work or further education within six months of graduating, making it second in the UK for graduate employability for universities of its size. It was also awarded the highest level of commendation for the 'enhancement of student learning opportunities' by the Quality Assurance Agency in 2015.
It’s spread across four campuses in Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas, with a free bus service running between them for easy access. Their main city campus is centrally located opposite the Molineux Stadium, home to Wolverhampton Wanderers. At its heart is the £26 million Millennium City Building with its 10,000 square meters of teaching space, gallery and restaurant. The Alan Turing Building features two TV studios, a radio studio and digital editing suites and the Arena Theatre showcases drama, music and dance across its three spaces.
It is praised for its efforts and success in encouraging wider participation in higher education and with two-thirds of its students coming from the West Midlands, it combines diversity with a real sense of local community.
Our Fiveways House building is a short walk from campus, with plenty of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and coffee shops in the area. It also has its own study area, onsite laundry, a social hub and an outdoor courtyard.
