Bishop Grosseteste University

Based at a beautiful campus to the north of Lincoln city centre, Bishop Grosseteste University has been around for more than 150 years, adopting its current name in 1962 to mark its centenary year, and receiving university status in 2012.

BGU offers a range of foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, in areas as diverse as business, archaeology, drama and sociology. The university has been highly ranked for the employability of its students, with courses tailored to prepare them for life after graduation.

Teaching at BGU was awarded the highest possible rating in the first Government-led Teaching Excellence Framework assessment, The university can also boast high levels of student satisfaction, and its students enjoy an excellent range of on-campus facilities, including a gym, cinema, theatre and cafés, as well as plenty of green space.
