Bath College

Bath College was formed in 2015 when City of Bath College and Norton Radstock College merged to offer a wider range of vocational and academic courses. Bath College has a positive reputation for giving students of all ages the skills they need to kick off their careers, offering a diverse range of 1,400 courses, from business and computing to performing arts and design. These qualifications range from entry level qualifications to degree level qualifications, with a strong focus on foundation degrees. In 2013, the college’s Art and Design department was graded by Ofsted as ‘outstanding’.

The college has a great careers department to help its students secure vocational placements and support you in your post-educational career and was recently recognised as one of the top 10% of FE colleges in England for employer satisfaction.

The college mainly operates over two campuses, both modern spaces with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere – plus onsite cafes and libraries to give you a space to relax and study. The City Centre Campus on Avon Street is in the heart of Bath and the Somer Valley Campus in Westfield is located in the countryside. At City Centre, there are great facilities for studying the arts, including Music, Media, Performing Arts and Hair Beauty. The Somer Valley Campus is in a good location to study Animal Care, Construction and Engineering, with lots of outdoor space to enjoy sports in your downtime.

Sat by the picturesque River Avon, iQ Twerton Mill can give you a great base to study at Bath College. Frequent transport links will help you to reach City Centre Campus in 14 minutes and Somer Valley in just under an hour. With the centre just a short trip away, there’s plenty of time to do the things you love. Don’t want to venture far? Kick back in the onsite social lounge and courtyard.
