MGA Stage Academy

Offering training in dancing, singing, acting, music and technical theatre, drama and performance, MGA is one of Scotland's leading performing arts institutions which has received a rapidly increasing demand in recent years.

One of only a handful of independent, specialist performing arts academies outside of London, it is a Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) Approved Centre, working in partnership with Bath Spa University. It’s the only college in Scotland that’s fully accredited by the UK Council for Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre and is also an Imperial Society for the Teachers of Dance (ISTD) approved centre.

Offering one-year, three-year and top-up courses across all key disciplines, it has something to suit every need and has a fantastic reputation. With a busy schedule of student-produced shows, it also stages shows as part of the city’s prestigious annual Fringe Festival.

iQ has a range of rooms perfectly located for students studying at MGA Stage Academy and a stone’s throw from Edinburgh's historic city centre. With Elliott House overlooking the Royal Terrace Gardens and giving views of Calton Hill, Grove handily situated between Haymarket Train Station and the glorious Meadows, and Fountainbridge on a direct bus route to the uni campuses outside of town, we’ve got all bases covered.
