Royal Conservatoire of Scotland

Originally known as the Scottish National Academy of Music, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland is a national and international centre of excellence for performing arts education. In its unique specialist environment, undergraduate and postgraduate courses provide world-renowned teaching in dance, drama, music, production and film.

Averaging more than 500 performances annually across its 5 professional venues, 40,000 members of the public enjoy the talents of the Conservatoire's students on stage every academic year.

Glasgow is Scotland's biggest city and the UK's second-most popular student city, so the opportunities for activities are endless. It's a multi-cultural hub, with a varied programme of activities to complement the musical passions of the Conservatoire's students across the city's many museums, galleries and music venues.

Elgin Place is within walking distance of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Having only opened its doors to students in 2017, all facilities are brand new and carefully considered, including a roof terrace, an amphitheatre, private dining rooms, gaming rooms and a gym.
