Located just outside Edinburgh in Musselburgh, QMU is situated in a 35-acre campus that was designed to achieve a new benchmark in sustainable design. Plans for an adjacent £80m innovation hub are underway and are set to strengthen its position as one of Scotland's leading educational centres.

Originally founded in 1875 as the Edinburgh School of Cookery and Domestic Economy, it’s now the hub for the Homecoming Scotland Archive, which catalogues materials about the 2009 Scottish Homecoming. It caters for over 5,000 students.

Having won awards for innovation and greenness, it’s a forward-thinking institution that includes a School of Arts & Social Sciences plus a School of Health Sciences.
